Original Purpose
GHOSTTERM investigated secure terminal architecture and post-quantum terminal research as a focused system rather than a generic shell replacement.
The work treated sessions, identity, cryptography, and local tooling as interconnected engineering problems.
Technical Challenge
Terminal environments must balance session security, cryptographic transition, local tooling integration, and operational context without fragmenting the engineer workflow.
GHOSTTERM tested whether those concerns could be unified in a single secure terminal architecture.
Lessons
