Every published system is labeled with an exact maturity state. Capability lists describe intended direction; they are not availability claims.
Maturity States
- Concept
- A documented direction without sufficient implementation evidence.
- Research
- An experiment used to evaluate models, architecture, or workflows.
- Prototype
- A functional proof of concept that has not completed productization.
- Architecture Direction
- Documented architecture pending stronger implementation evidence.
- Implementation Candidate
- A validated design selected for implementation while build closure is pending.
- Active Development
- Substantial current work is underway.
- Private Pilot
- Used in a limited owner-controlled environment.
- Production Candidate
- Major workflows implemented while release requirements are being closed.
- Available
- A user can access or obtain the product under defined conditions.
- Historical
- Preserved as technical lineage.
- Standing Architecture
- A cross-cutting architecture applied across platforms rather than a standalone product.
